Mutual Care is seeking an experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an EMT at Mutual Care, you will play a vital role in providing prompt and quality emergency medical care to our patients in need.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to non-emergency calls promptly and assess the medical needs of patients.

• Administer basic life support and perform necessary medical interventions to stabilize patients' conditions.

• Safely transport patients to medical facilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being during the journey.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and doctors, to provide coordinated care to patients.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatments provided, and transport information.

• Regularly inspect and maintain emergency medical equipment, ensuring readiness for emergency responses.

• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other medical personnel to provide information, reassurance, and support.

• Adhere to all protocols, guidelines, and legal regulations governing emergency medical services.

Qualifications:

• Valid EMT certification and licensure in the state of Georgia. National EMT is not required. Georgia EMT license is required.

• Minimum of 1 years of experience working as an EMT in a similar healthcare setting.

• Sound knowledge of emergency medical procedures, basic life support techniques, and medical equipment operation.

• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and medical professionals.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-based healthcare environment.

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and maneuver patients when necessary.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
